I am planning to post videos of my workout and other fitness routines from time to time. For now, I want to share a brief tour of our home gym.
My wife and I are both into fitness but we both have very busy work schedules most of the time. Additionally, I like to do circuit training and supersets, which is very difficult to pull off at a regular commercial gym since I typically have to wait (many times for several minutes while the person using the equipment diddles with their phone) for certain equipment and/or weights to become available.
Hence, when we moved into our house, we both knew that we would find a way to put our very own home gym in one of rooms. Eventually, we decided to convert half of our garage into the gym. I think it turned out pretty well (shoutout to the folks at BodyKore for setting up most of the gym, including the flooring, equipment and mirrors). The walls and door dividing our gym from the actual garage were built by the contractor we hired to do the upgrades throughout the house.
It was not a cheap undertaking, for sure. However, I can say without a doubt that it has been worth every penny we spent as we both can work out whenever we free up, whether that happens at midnight, 5 am, noon, or any other time of the day or night.
